Antique Metallic / col 901 / 100m

This super fine metallic thread from Au Ver a Soie is made by wrapping metal around a central core. The wrap is slightly spaced allowing the core to show through. That, and the 'duller' nature of the metal colour, gives the antique finish.

Note: this thread is very fine, similar to quality sewing machine thread.

Will work well as a blending thread for hand embroidery, for buttons, ganutell and fine hand stitching. Blended, it is good for cords, tassels, braids, and so much more
