Specially designed button safety pins for changeable buttons by Hemline

These small safety pins have a little bump on one side, and no ring at the curved end, allowing the pin to be placed through the fabric, and button, from the wrong side of the garment. This means that any fancy passementerie buttons that you make can be removed before washing the garment. Works best with a small shank on the back of the button - even a needlewoven loop shank.

They are also good for military cap badges, etc.
