This starch uses the same unique formulation as our Kanzashi Starch adhesive, but with a "runnier" consistency. This means that it can be brushed directly onto lace - for instance onto a Teneriffe Lace motif while it is still stretched on a loom. Leave to dry, then remove the motif, which will now be stiffer and easier to manage.

This can be used with natural fibres and will wash out.

Perfect to stiffen areas before working embroidery (especially broderie anglaise)

It can be further diluted with water to act as a fabric starch stiffener  - saturate the fabric, spread out and leave to dry, then iron for a stiff finish - that will come out at the next wash.
