Quality Italian soutache (Russia) braid, suitable for a wide range of passementerie projects. This braid is flexible, though a bit firmer than the Czech braid. 

It has a soft sheen, and the colours are not too artificial, making it perfect to compliment silk fibres. Great for tassels, frogging and of course buttons. At 2mm wide, it is good for finer applications.

Hint - When sewing soutache, try using a beading needle. This type of needle is less likely to catch and snag the covering threads.
