This lovely mercerised perle (pearl/perl) cotton thread from Presencia is a pleasure to work with. It is perfect for buttons, braids and tassels, weaving (including tablet weaving) and can be used to make Teneriffe roundels, crochet and tatting and other forms of lace - it can even be used in embroidery!

Solid dyed for colour fastness and durability. this thread is 100% cotton.

This is a size 12 cotton - a fine thread that is great for buttons with more detail for instance. Also works very well for fine lace (it is similar in thickness/weight to DMC coton a broder 25) and other needlework. For those of you who make lace, this is a good size for gimps, and it crochets as a 30.
