This beautiful 2 ply high twist filament silk is smooth, soft and lustrous. It is perfect for very fine detail, and is often used for couching down metallic threads. The shades correspond with the Soie Ovale and Soie d'Alger silks.

Besides embroidery, this is a great silk for fine button making, working woven designs on tassels (limace work), yubinuki, ganutell and and for other passementerie.
