Soie Perlee is a 3 ply twisted filament silk that is smooth, soft, and lustrous. It is made of the best qualities of raw silk which give it an unrivalled brightness and softness. 

It has a beautiful sheen and is similar in size to a No 8 pearl cotton. The silk is wound onto a lovely wooden spool as well.

Filament silk is silk that is unwound from the coccoon in unbroken lengths. It is the best quality of all silk types.
