Learn how to make beautiful buttons using soutache braid!

Soutache braid has long been used for buttons for couture garments and has it’s history in the Eastern European uniform braids and frog fasteners. Originally this was a hand braided item; modern soutache (also known as Russia Braid) is made on a machine, usually of super fine viscose threads to mimic silk. This style of button is most often used for statement outerwear.

In this kit you will find instructions and materials to make 6 different soutache button styles, along with a printed fabric journal to keep your buttons for future reference.

WHILE STOCKS LAST: The kit is also supplied with a little pen of DryFast PVA adhesive, as glue is required - which means the only thing you need to supply is some scissors.
