These tools have been specially designed to aid in the creation of raised embroidery - often called stumpwork. 

Traditionally known as embroidery shoes, we’ve included not only the traditional shapes (great for bell and trumpet flowers) but also new shapes, perfect for baskets, mushrooms and toadstools. 

The tools can be tacked to the embroidery to make raised areas to pad or fill. 

They can also be used to create two layer slips - needle lace pieces that can stand alone if needed. 

Also included are a bar to work detached petals and raised leaf stitch, a comb that can be used to create tufts and grasses, loopy petals, and even butterflies, and a pin for woven picots.
